What to Expect
Drink lots of water the evening before and day of your massage. Herbal, caffeine-free teas are wonderful too! This will hydrate the tissues in your body, making your massage more effective.
Please arrive 5-10 minutes before your appointment is scheduled to start. This will allow you to have a few moments of stillness and begin your massage in a calm state.
On your fist visit, there will be a brief health history form to fill out. Every massage session will begin with a few minutes of conversation while you and Apple determine your needs for that day.
Apple will leave the room while you get undressed and on the table under the sheets and blanket. You only need to undress to your level of comfort. She will knock before returning to the room.
Draping is required by law and will always be used to ensure your warmth and comfort during your session. Only the area of the body being worked on will be uncovered.
You are welcome to chat during your massage, but certainly not expected to carry on a conversation unless you want to. This is your time to relax and be cared for.
Feedback is greatly appreciated during the massage. A painful massage does not equal an effective massage! Please speak up if you need any adjustments to the pressure, the music being played, or the temperature in the room. Your comfort is the priority.
